Subject: Send a ‘virtual hug’ to regional kids affected by cancer

Hi

I am emailing you to ask for your support to get behind this incredible project by Childhood Cancer Support called ‘Send Hugs’.

The project aims to get 5,000 ‘virtual hugs’ to show support of children and families affected by cancer from regional areas. A ‘virtual hug’ is simply a few kind words of encouragement that you send through at https://www.sendhugs.com.au/ – you can even include a selfie.

SEND HUGS DAY THIS FRIDAY 10th MAY

This Friday a day of awareness and fundraising to support these regional families affected by childhood cancer. You can join me in making an impact this Friday and send your ‘virtual hug’ today at https://www.sendhugs.com.au/

Have a read of these beautiful family stories at https://my.sendhugs.com.au/family-stories/

Childhood Cancer Support needs to raise $50,000 to help continue the amazing services they provide to families in their time of need. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help make an impact this Friday at https://sendhugs.raisely.com

About Childhood Cancer Support

Childhood Cancer Support is a children’s cancer charity that was formed in 1975 when a group of desperate parents, with children being treated for leukaemia and cancer, met to discuss ways of helping each other and their children.

As one of Australia’s well-respected children’s cancer charities, Childhood Cancer Support has grown into a six-house facility comprising 17 fully self-contained family styled units that provide parents with a long-term accommodation alternative. 13 units are located in the leafy suburb of Herston with playground, manicured gardens, a community room and gym; and 4 units in close proximity to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in South Brisbane.

Please get behind this project, it would really mean a lot to me.

Thanks for your support.
